2012 in Review on my Blog

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 5,000 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 8 years to get that many views.

Twin Baby Showers

Nope, I’m not having twins or even having any baby at this point. I do have a web page on Squidoo about Twin Baby Showers. It was one I’d bought and now was updating it.

I found some really cute twin baby shower invitations on Zazzle. Previously I just added a few using Squidoo’s text modules to feature the Zazzle art. Now I use Erich Mangl’s Zazzle to Squidoo tool to feature the Zazzle products.

It sure turned out looking very professional. Take a look at how it featured the eight shower invitations on my web page. If you’d like to use this tool, it’s free. Just click on the Zazzle to Squidoo Tool. You may even be inspired to donate to Erich for his work in developing the tool for our use. There’s a button on the site to donate.

Victorian Fan Ornament

Victorian Fan Ornament

I’ve just posted a new page on Squidoo on how to make a Victorian fan ornament from ribbon.

I wanted to use this photo with the step-by-step instructions. Unfortunately it is too large for Squidoo. I wish they had a convenient down-sizing photo tool right on the lens building workshop.

I could post it to photobucket and then resize it there for the Squidoo page. Tedious. So I’m posting the picture here, then will pin it to Pinterest and get the HTML from there to put on the Squidoo lens.
